This is part four of content for the Brains of the Operation, aka Household Binder.
This is one of the most helpful parts of the BotO, for me. I have a cleaning schedule - several actually - that I like to follow. They help me stay on top of all the housework. So it's nice to have everything I have to clean listed in one place.

This is my weekly cleaning checklist. Each day focuses on a different part of the house as well as daily tasks. I think I might get it laminated since it shouldn't change much. I would be able to use a dry erase marker then to check off each item and write any notes.
The goal is to focus on one area of the house daily to make sure its clean. I tried to focus on one tasks a day, such as dusting, and I found for me that feels like more work, going from room to room. This way I can enter a room and know that everything will be cleaned after I leave.
You can download the
weekly cleaning schedule here.

This is my spring cleaning checklist. 5 glorious weeks of cleaning. Even though it is "spring" cleaning, I try and do it twice a year.

This should probably be laminated too.
You can download the
spring cleaning schedule here.

Similar to the bill checklist, this list helps me remember to clean the things that need it only once a month - the bed covers and mattress pad, the hood filter in the kitchen, flush the drains, the phone, drapes, ceiling fans, air vents, light fixtures and the things that only need yearly cleaning - mattress, exterior windows and doors, patio and garage.

monthly schedule here.

This is amazing and looks so pretty. I've been meaning to make one for ages and this has given me motivation to do so. Has it been helping? I'm the type of person who needs routine in order to keep up with the house!

I think it does help a lot Aisha. I can see down at the end of the day and checkoff everything I needed to do for the day and make sure I didn't miss anything.
It also helps when the husband asks what he can do and I can just point him to the list.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my household binder and am working on updating it asap. I LOVE these forms, but I was wondering if there was any way to you to email me/post a blank copy of these, with just the main titles in each one (Day of Week for Weekly cleaning, Room and Week for Spring Cleaning, and blank bullets under Clean Me for the Monthly Cleaner). I don't have the same rooms that you have this would be wonderful to place in my binder. If you decide to just send the to me via email, my email is tasha.hill0814@yahoo.com Thank you! LOVE YOUR BLOG!
Hi Mrs. Tasha! I will email you shortly the blank forms.
Thanks for reading!
I LOVE all of your ideas and want to make a household binder. Is there anyway to edit the forms? If not, would you consider emailing me a blank copy of each? I can't imagine the work you have put into these and I so appreciate it. LOVE YOUR BLOG! Sincerely, Ally Fitzgibbons

nice ideas!! instead of laminating, you could put them in sleeve page protectors! works the same way and cheaper!! looks like i need to buy ink lol
I love the color and design of your checklists! What program did you make them in? Thank you! :)
I made them in word and then converted them to a pdf file.
Do you have the blank forms available for purchase or download? I just love the layout and would like to tweak them a bit for our home. Thanks so much!! Renee

I would also love to have these in blank form, ALL of them! Especially your budgeting form, you are so very thorough! If you can email any of them to me it is Pattypoundcake37@hotmail.com
I would love a blank copy of the weekly cleaning schedule and the spring cleaning! I have different rooms in my house and would love to just tweak it a bit. I love the layout of your schedule and have not come across anything like it. Your organization of things is amazing! Hoping I can get things back in order with this schedule after having a baby. :)
